Cymon’s Games: Trap

If you’re in that 30 something gamer crowd, chances are you spent more that a few hours wearily typing programs by wrote into your computer in hopes of playing a “free game”. Since it started Cymon’s games has been about the revival and update of the type-in. That day is finally upon us!
Cymon’s Games is elated to announce the launch of a site redesign and the first book of the Cymon’s Games series! Type-in have officially returned! The first book is available free for download now.
Also, Trap is this week’s program.
Competition Update
With September 1st only a week away, the competition boundries are slowly starting to be defined. The rules, of course, will wait a little longer, but the structure of the competition has been announced.
Because of the more than impressive prize pool on offer and the amount of interest the competition is generating, it has been decided that there will be the choice of 6 seperate categories to enter your game into, the first of which has been announced both on the competition forum and over on the official competition blog.
The remaining 5 categories will be made general knowledge before the competition starts.
The prize list is growing rapidly, and with the promise of more to come, here is the list of sponsors already announced.

Black box is an abstract hide and seek game. In its original form it was a board game with one person providing the setup, hints, and tallying score and the other player making guesses. Of course setting up, providing hints, and tallying score is one of those things computers are perfectly suited for. Read more
