Cymon’s Games: Alleytris

It’s the 4th of July which where I’m from means celebrating America’s indepence from the motherland by jeapordizing our skin by going outside in the sun, jeopardizing our fitness by throwing some franks and hamburgers on the grill, and in case we aren’t living enough on the edge taking explosives (made in China) and blowing stuff up.
I really didn’t have any point to all that except to laugh at what we call patriotism ’round these parts.
This week on Cymon’s Games, it’s the popular Tetris variation known as Alleytris.
I’ll have you know I was originally going to post my Tetris code, but the variation I call Alleytris, a 4 column wide version of the same, proved to be so popular and so different that I decided to feature it instead. Plus, then I didn’t have the whole sticky question of stepping on somebodies intelectual property (as hard). You can still make it into normal Tetris by changing a single line of code, but after a few play thrus you may find yourself reevaluating if you really want to.
I should also mention that the 6th is my birthday. If you want to buy me something nice, I won’t dissuade you (and just think, every British pound is like a buck-and-a-half to me right now), but if you’re short on cash there is something else you can do that would make me very happy.
