Here we have a remake of a rather more recent game than usual and one that people who have used Windows for a while are sure to recognise. Jezzball from the Microsoft Entertainment Pack probably ate way too many hours of peoples lives to be counted, although probably not as many as their games that are already built into Windows.
This version for the Nintendo DS uses stylus control rather than a mouse but the effect is much the same in this semi-Qix like game. Separate the bouncing balls by cutting up the arena slashing it in half and then half again, until you have your balls against the walls as it were.
A simple but effective game and should help pass the time. Nice to have a mobile version and the DS seems to be a good place for this game to end up.
The latest version is 1.2.0 which has general tidying up of things, and it already looks pretty much fully featured and complete. Not bad to say it is the author’s first venture into DS coding.
