You lucky, lucky people - right here we don’t just have a single remake we have two of the blighters lined up just for you. Danjo of ACODERS has been a busy bee and just informed us of his Asteroids and Lunar Lander games, both with a decidedly thrusty bent.

Guess who’s back, back again? RetroSpec! Tell a friend! Yes they are here with a shiny and metallic looking remake of Alien 8, so it’s time to get your isometric groove on, Daddio! Oh yes!
Solitaire Settlers of Catan
It must be said that I’m not a big follower of board games, with the last one I played probably being Scrabble. That being the case, even I am aware of the phenomenon that is Settlers of Catan, the tearaway success by German game designer Klaus Teuber.
If you have never heard of the game before, or you have heard of it but never had a chance to play it or give it a go then here is your chance thanks to sdetoni (of YakYak forum) and his single player vs AI version for the java computing platform of your choice.
Asteroids
Ah! The classics. We were brought up on them, let’s face it, we owe our very gaming existence to them, but how often do we pay homage to the eh? How often do we get a Space Invaders clone through the door? Blue moons, that’s when. What about Pacman? It’s a rarity, admit it. Tetris? Actually……..

…or something. Right, apologies for the past couple of days and the varying look of the site. Stupidly when we moved from Darren Hoyt’s excellent Mimbo template to something a little less cumbersome to post to - I rushed in and grabbed the nearest template to hand and it was, in retrospect, a bit of a daft thing to do as I hated it. Far too messy and far too cluttered.
Mega Drops (PSP)
Thanks to Kojote’s PDROMS site and its latest competition, here we have a puzzler mash-up to give your homebrew enabled PSP a warm fuzzy glow inside. Taking inspiration from Puyo, Tetris Attack and the omnipresent Lumines among others, hopefully this will have something for everyone - assuming you are a puzzler fan.
