Help Us Out: Add your game to the showcase | Help us keep RR online

Calm down, calm down - it’s not out *just* yet. But word reaches me on the street that Mr Gorings remaking swansong, as ably assisted by Smila and Infamous is so close to completion that if you stick your tongue out of the door you can taste it.

Wizball Retro Remake

It’s not very sensible to hang your balls like that…

Personally, I’m with WOTR’s Achay on Wizball but it has to be said, that having had the opportunity to have my computer blown up by the game previously that not only is it an incredibly faithful version, but it’s fupping gorgeous to boot. Graham has a crack team of testers on the case right now making sure that everything is kicked into shape. Now we just have to wait for the siren of all clearness to sound and it’ll be in your grubby mits.

Hold on tight…

Speak your brains

    I hope your server’s up to the task guys.

    I have a feeling you might get wizdotted* on release day.

    (*Wizball + Slashdot effect = Wizdotting)

    Loved this game on my old C64, many an hour spent playing this. Also going to email this link to my sis who will flip when she sees it. :)

    From the WOTR ‘review’;

    “So why is it then, that the majority of this game – and it’s not alone in this – is grey on a black background?”

    Erm, didn’t the game involve collecting coloured drops which you then mixed to colour the landscape?

    Speccy owner, I ask you. ;P

    It’s worth reading the rest of that WOTR issue for the context. It’s a shame the comments threads are long gone for it, hours of fun they were. ;)
