Typhoon 2001

If you are like me and don’t have an Xbox360, and can’t play Space Giraffe, then you will be chuffed to bits to know that Kufi is still working on his awesome remake of Tempest 2k.

It might not be as wibbly as Jeff’s new creation but is is fantastic stuff, and deserves a place on everyone’s hard drive - well unless your game is Graham Goring, perhaps.

Kufi's Typhoon (wip4)

It might not be Christmas, but here’s a Bonus!

As you can see from the screen above Kufi is now working on the bonus rounds, and it certainly seems to be coming along nicely.

Visit the forum thread for the game to have your eyes assaulted with yet more lovely screens, including some featuring the new “glowing webs”.

Oh yes, there is also a video to keep you going until the new version is released. Ciao.

Moon Patrol

Fly me to the moon, and let me play among the stars. Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars… If being a lunar loony is your fantasy then Shinobi’s return from a long absence might just make your dreams come true.

Shinobi's Moon Patrol

The real estate boom shows no sign of slowing.

Yes a dusty WIP has returned, and as you can read in our forum the game seems to be close to close to completion. It is currently going through a round of beta testing to ensure it reaches you all in the best condition possible.

Phoenix rises from the ashes again

Remakes are a funny old business, yes they are. You can go yoinks without a decent Phoenix remake, and then suddenly there you are with two in a row. The first came courtesy of the recent Spanish Retro Comp, and now we have this colorful blaster from our own arcade remixer Minion.

Shoot me the bird, someone

Proving that two remakes beat a hand in the bush, this one is up to his usual standards of completeness and polish. Stick your beak in at the forum to find out how you can lay talons on the game proper.

Johnny Platform’s Biscuit Romp

August 12, 2007 · Filed Under Uncategorized · 2 Comments

Just in time for tea comes a new Nintendo DS game from RR regular Craig “Ishi” Forrester. It’s a colorful platformer titled Johnny Platform’s Biscuit Romp, wherein our titular hero battles bad biscuit bots in a 50-screen quest for a decent cuppa. It’s an original offering sweety reminiscent of RoboCod, which is a compliment if you’re asking.

Makes you want to lick the screen, don’t it?

You can obtain this fine offering for your portable or emulator from the IshiSoft site, and discuss the game further in our forums.
