Ah, Match-3 games. A friend to the casual gamer and a boon to the shareware house with little talent and fewer ideas. And lo, here’s another one, called Cartouche and brought to us by The Codex. Unlike your usual Match-3 tat, this one is at least free, and comes with the claim that it offers something new with its dual-matching system.

Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match…

Go crazy matching hieroglyphs on color OR symbol while grooving out to the Middle Eastern influenced tunage ofInfamous. You can get the game from the Dream Codex Retrogames site here.

And for those who saw this article earlier, you’re not hallucinating. It was posted before but I’m moving it up because there has been an updated release that much improves the mouse response. Anyone who grabbed this first time around should get a fresh download.
