Let’s go! Lemmings DS is a port of the classic Amiga/Atari/Speccy/etc action-puzzle game Lemmings for the Nintendo DS.

In previous versions there were only a couple of levels and users were encouraged to make their own with the level editor also available on their site, but not this time..

Oh no, version 7 is a whole different kettle of green haired rodents, containing no less than 220 levels. That is 120 from the original games, plus the 100 extra levels from Oh No More Lemmings. Praise be!

This version also supports DLDI, so now it will hopefully work on all manner of DS flashcards and reach the wider audience that it deserves.

I’ve said for years that Lemmings would be fab on the Nintendo DS and I’m glad a developer agreed and made this fanciful vision of mine into a reality.

Oh, the source is available too if you want to check it out. Good times.

Excellent. I’m downloading it right now: I’ll play the game in a few hours. Hopefully it is as good as the original. I’ve got my fingers crossed!

Perfect! Two great news items in a row! And it works on supercard (with the patch available from their link). This is the game I always thought would be perfect for the NDS.. It’s now my favourite. The icons are a little bit hard to discern, but otherwise, awesome.

Can’t configure it on the R4 either… WHY would a game be released for download which doesn’t come ready configured?? The configure.txt file doesn’t instruct you very well at all.
