Happy New Year
Help Us Out: Add your game to the showcase | Help us keep RR online
In case I’m not around later, I’d like to wish you all a very happy new year for 2007 from all the folks at Retro Remakes.
And whilst I’m here, I suppose I better post some remakes news.
Bankie has updated Highway Encounter with a few tweaks and the ability to use different texture sets. Stuffage tweaked includes the turn rate and firing speed. So go grab.
Alley Cat 2 now has its own webpage, and I’ve still not got round to trying this one yet so you’ll have to fill in your own critique here and pretend I said it. Apologies all round, I normally try and play all the games that come through these doors but this has slipped my mind until now. I’ll have a gander after I’ve posted this.
Mick Farrows Hunchback remake has had a very nice update. Lots of fun for all those who like avoiding getting a spike up the backside.
Drewsters Casio Invaders is an interesting remake of Space Invaders as featured on the Casio MG-880 Calculator. A noble and admirable project. Very nice it is too.
Smila has put out his Competition 2006 magazine for your reading pleasure. I’m pretending there isn’t a picture of me inside it as I type.
Righty, thats all for now. Brief again I know - but we’ll be shifting over to the new format this week with a bit of luck, so expect a change of pace.
