Good evening ladies and gentlefolk, here be the news at Saturday o’ clock.

Time to clear out some of my backlog before I proceed with any more recent news methinketh…

First up from the Bob drawers of pantless doom comes a remake of the limb chopping, head kicking, all singing, all swinging Palace semi nudey Maria Whittaker and Wolf classic. Yes, there’s nothing else it could be really other than a remake of Barbarian entitled Barbares.

So, if you like nothing more than two sweaty men swinging their swords at each other, then this should be right up your street.

GBA Games have dropped me a note about an update to their excellent GBA version of the cracking maze puzzler XOR. You can now cadge yourself a hefty 15 more levels of XOR goodness, this time taken from “Prospecter In The Mazes Of XOR” and kindly supplied to GBA Games by Andrew Hayes. So, if you fancy exercising your brain cells and having a little handheld fun into the bargain, then you know where to click.

And moving onwards to something a little less cerebral, its Ablach Blackrats version of one of my favourite games of all time… it could only be Tempest. Entitled Tempest:Event Horizon, Ablachs version whilst not the most faithful remake is still a fun little blast in itself and for those who fancy a bit of longevity from their games, there’s an included level editor for creating your own webby goodness (sorry Swith). Its also worth taking a little meander around Ablachs site, as a quick nosey also revealed a Centipede variant and a remake of Mousetrap. Top work.

Well, I think thats me up to date for now. I’m sure there’s some stuff posted in our forum this past week that’ll need attending to soon enough, so we’ll clear some of that out later for your perusal.

Thanks for popping by and happy gameplaying.
