Its an Ultima7 remake. Its called Exult 3D. It looks real good. It was sent in by Deviant Child. Its also downloadable !!
Leandro is fairly quiet around these parts, but pops up now and again in the forums. Seems he’s 99.999% ready with his remake of Skooter. You can grab the latest beta, check out the screenshots, and hopefully help him make this game a v1.0 release.
And finally, theres Darksides remake of Equinox. Its back on now TransAm is finished, and is moving along nicely.

This one can only be described as a retro-style, abstract, 2D shooter as i don’t think its based on anything in particular. But for any shooter fans, you should check out Transcend for some geometrical graphics and frenzied gameplay.
Ok, heres a Missile Command clone called Penguin Command. I wish we could find more original remakes sometimes.
I can’t quite remember whose words these are, but heres what Mr.Who wrote. “Go here: This is a really good game. I think it has like 6 tracks and 10 cars. It’s really good.” Well, it does look pretty cool so you should at least take a peek.

I loved the Broken Sword series, especially 1 + 2 so this project could be great. Back to the old school 2d point and click adventures. Well the Broken Sword 2.5 website awaits those that are interested. It is WIP and theres no game demo available just yet. Thanks to Sebastian Nisi, one of the authors, for the email.
Follow the Bugs link for (these are Flynn’s words ok !) a “superb Bombjack remake”. Click the word windows under download to get the current version which is said to be 95% complete.
Rock EGG is yet another Boulderdash remake to add to your lists. While it doesn’t look astounding it does have a certain charm to its gfx. Try it out.
Flynn is the Apple// freak round these parts. He’s also a Lode Runner fanatic. So when something like a cloned version of the Apple//’s game Loderunner appears, he gets a bit moist. To get your hands on this one you have to email the author and request it so check out his webpage and get emailing…
Devil’s Sphere has been in our list a while now, but recently a downloadable demo version was announced in our forum. This is a cool remake of Spherical, so head over to the Spherical Site now !!

With articles on Mirrorsoft, Spectrum Sound (beep) and Coin-op conversions its going to be a bumper read.

Tranz Am Bonanza
We have waited years for a decent Trans Am remake, and then like the proverbial bus, two come along at once. I’ve even started two versions myself and never finished them so desperate was I to play a remake of it !!
Now after Monster’s Tranz Oz in the competition, we have Tranz Am 2000 by Darkside. This remake marks Darkside’s return to the scene after a two year absence, and the game goes to prove, once a remaker always a remaker.
Its a 2D version of the game with lovely graphics, gameplay and a steep learning curve (or is it just that I am rubbish !!). Still for the purest, this is Trans Am for the year 2000, just like it says on the tin !!
