Warblade Updated
One of the rare shareware games we list here is Warblade. Well, for anyone that hasn’t yet found out, there is a brand new version 1.1 out. The game now includes a meteor storm accelerator, new meters showing your bonus times, loads of new gfx and gfx effects, a voiceset of over 100 samples, dozens of bugfixes and much much more. If you are a registered player, then check your emails !!
The demo of v1.1 should be out soon but for now you can grab the v1.0 demo from The Warblade Site.

Volleyball anyone?
Heres a remake by Martin Stich and Michael Zeile. Whilst not a true remake as such, it has obviously been inspired by games such as “Beach VolleyBall”.
If you fancy a bit of ball nutting, then you can’t go wrong by downloading Hairy Harry. Its a very simple, but VERY addictive game which boasts (amongst other features) customisable players (you just gotta see the hair move!), netplay and statistics.

Retro Gamer - Issue 4
Retro Gamer Issue 4 just dropped onto my doormat this morning. This month’s issue features Nintendo’s Greatest Games, Lords Of Midnight Trilogy, Amstrad Action, Telecom Soft Feature, Greatest Retro Football Games, C64 Music, plus games and C64 music on the coverdisc.
If you aren’t a subscriber then I urge you to grab a copy before you end up having to pay £100 for one on Ebay :s
HitBlock
Endurion has released his remake titled HitBlock. For now you need to go into the thread, read up and find the download… Looks like a neat polished puzzler and its getting some good feedback from the punters. Oh, Endurion, it’ll be added to the list when our maintainer gets round to it !! ok, lol.
